For this look I used one of my FAVORITE pigments, MAC Blue Brown Pigment! This look is one that anybody will be able to wear. It is a mix of dark browns with sort of reddish undertones, with the pigment beaming with blue! I love this look for a night out, a party, or just to get dolled up and go to the store! To learn how I created this look, keep reading!
- I primed my eyes with MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer in the shade NC15.
- I set that with a nude all matte shade; Buttery from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Artist Palette.
- I then applied a soft brown color from the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Favorite Palette on a Makeup Geek Soft Dome Brush. I made sure to bring this color all the way from my outer crease, to my inner crease because I am going to have such a dark pigmented color on my lid, it is necessary to bring this color all the way in to balance it out.
- Using a Sigma E25 brush, I applied MAC’s Embark in my crease going back and forth using windshield wiper motions.
- I used a MAC 242 brush and sprayed Fix Plus on it in order to make the pigment stick better and apply more pigmented. I applied this all over my lid, just up to where my crease started.
- Once this pigment was fully dry, I went back in with an E25 brush, and reapplied a little more of Embark. *If you try to blend this pigment out before it has fully dried, it will all smudge together and become very messy.*
- I then went back in with the original soft brown color I applied, and blended that out in order to create a smooth transition and help all the colors blend together.
- I took a black eyeliner applied it to my bottom waterline, and tight lined my upper waterline.
- I took Embark on a Smudge brush from Sigma, and applied it under my bottom waterline. Using a Makeup Geek Pencil brush, I smudged this color out with the original soft brown color I used as my transition shade.
- I applied mascara to my top and bottom lashes, applied false lashes from House of Lashes in the style “Pixie Luxe” and that is it!
I had a lot of fun playing with this pigment and creating this look! I hope you recreate it and try it out for yourself.. you can’t go wrong with a color like this!
The picture below was taken with no extra lighting. I wanted you to be able to see how this pigment looks different (and amazing) in different lighting. The blue seems to pick up more in darker lighting! Either way, it’s a beautiful pigment!
Today’s look is an easy everyday makeup look!! Anybody is going to be able to wear and create this look!
To create this look I started off by applying Makeup Geek’s Latte in my crease with a Makeup Geek Soft Dome Brush.
I then took Embark by MAC on a Sigma E25 Blending Brush, and applied that into my crease to deepen it up.
On my lid I used Makeup Geek’s Vanilla Bean with a Morphe M124 Firm Shadow Brush.
I used Wet N’ Wild Mega Liner to line my eyes and create a wing.
I used Maybelline Pumped Up! Colossal Volum’ Express on my top and bottom lashes.
I applied L’Oreal Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner in the color Black on my bottom waterline, but for a softer look you can go for a nude liner!
I lightly filled in my eyebrows using the shade Medium Brown from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pro Palette.
That completes the eye look… now onto the Face!
I started out with clean moisturized skin, and applied Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer with my fingers.
I used L’Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation in the shade n1-2 Soft Ivory, with a Sigma F80 Brush. I spray my brush with MAC Fix+ before applying my foundation to my face.
For my concealer I used NYX HD Concealer in the shade 01 in an upside down triangle shape under my eye and blended that in with a damp Beauty Blender.
I set my concealer with the Banana shade from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit and a Sigma F25 Tapered Face Brush.
I contoured with the shade Fawn from the same Anastasia Contour Kit using a Real Techniques Sculpting Brush.
That completes this look!! I hope you like it and try it out for yourself
This look is a purple look using the Makeup Geek Foiled Shadow in the beautiful purple shade Day Dreamer.
To start off this look, I primed my eyes using my NYX HD Concealer in the shade 01.
I applied a soft warm brown shade from my Morphe Jaclyn Hills Favorite Palette in my crease with a Makeup Geek Soft Dome Brush.
I then took the shade Desperation from my Urban Decay Vice Palette and applied that in my outer crease and blended it inward using a Morphe M330 Brush.
To darken my outer corner, I used Makeup Geek’s Corrupt on that same Morphe M330 Brush.
To add more purple into my look, I used a deep cool toned purple color from Morphe in the shade #45 and applied that to my outer corner using a Makeup Geek Pointer Crease Brush.
I then used my finger to apply Makeup Geek’s Foiled Shadow in the shade Day Dreamer all over my lid.
I did not do any top eyeliner for this look, but I did tight line my lashes with a L’Oreal Black Pencil Liner.
I then applied false lashes from Red Cherry in the style #46.
I applied Blackberry from MAC on my lower lash line with a Sigma E20 Short Shader Brush. I also took that dark grey color (Desperation) from Urban Decay and applied that very close to my bottom lashes, on the outer half to the middle of my eye and lightly blended it in.
Lastly, I took a Mac Pigment in White and applied that with a Morphe M411 brush in my inner corner sand blending that upwards to create a smooth transition between my lid color and my inner corner. I apllied a coat of mascara to my bottom lashes, and that completes this look! I hope you enjoyed it
A little side note- (my eyebrows were NOT having a good day today)!! hahaa!
Today’s look is a shimmery smokey eye using this BEAUTY; Makeup Geek’s Foiled Eyeshadow in the shade High Wire.
To create this look today I’m using my brand new Canon Camera!!
I started off by applying my transition color which was a light brown shade from my Morphe Jaclyn Hill Favorites Palette. I used windshield wiper motions with a Makeup Geek Soft Dome Brush.
I then used Makeup Geek’s Stealth, which is a blue/ grey color, on that same MUG(Makeup Geek) Brush and applied that into the crease, bringing it all the way into the inside of my eye.
To deepen up the crease I used a matte black color by Makeup Geek in the shade Corrupt on a Morphe 330 Brush.
Next comes the star of the show… Makeup Geeks Foiled Shadow in the shade High Wire, which is a BEAUTIFUL pure silver color. These shadows apply best with your fingers, so that’s what I used for this.. No brush. I packed this shade all over my lid and outwards until about the outer third of my eye.
To create a smoother transition from the MUG Foiled Shadow and the crease colors, I used MAC’s Pigment in the shade White and applied that in the inner corner of my eye and up to where it hits the grey color in my crease. I applied this with Makeup Geeks Small Crease Brush.
I used Wet N’ Wild Mega Liner to make my wing and then added a pair of Red Cherry Lashes in the style #1. I then lined my bottom waterline with L’Oreal eyeliner.
Using my Makeup Geek Pencil Brush, I applied the same matte black color I put in my crease (Corrupt by MUG) and then smudged that out using MUG Small Crease Brush with the same light brown color I used to transition in the beginning. I finished up by adding a coat of mascara to my bottom lashes and WE’RE DONE!!

Today’s look is going to feature a brand new palette that I finally got my hands on… the Jaclyn Hill Favorites Palette from Morphe.
To create this look, I used three colors from the palette. A soft warm brown, a brown/red shade, and a soft pink/champagne shimmery shade.
The first color I took was the brown one pictured below. I applied this into my crease with my Makeup Geek Soft Dome Brush using windshield wiper motions. I then went in with a Morphe M330 brush and blended that out. The next color I used was this brown/red one pictured below.I took this on a Makeup Geek Pointed Crease Brush and applied it into my crease and the outer corner of my eye. I then went back in with that Morphe M330 Brush, and blended everything out more. The last color I used was the pink champagne color pictured below. I applied this with my Morphe M124 Brush and packed it all over the lid. (Note: My camera did not pick up how pink this color actually is. It looks more like a cream in the pictures, but it is much pinker in person.)
After applying my shadows, I once again went back in with that Morphe M330 Brush, and blended everything out. I then applied my top eyeliner using Wet N’ Wilds Mega Liner and added a pair of false lashes. The ones I am wearing are the Red Cherry Lashes in the style #1. I used my favorite lash glue, House of Lashes Eyelash Adhesive to apply them. I went back in with that same red/brown color and applied it to my bottom lash line using Makeup Geek’s Pencil Brush. I took that same brown color I used in the crease and blended out my bottom lash line with Makeup Geek’s Small Crease Brush. That complete this look! I hope you liked it, and thanks for viewing!
To create this look:
I took Makeup Geek Latte on my Makeup Geek Soft Dome Brush and blended that above my crease as a transition color.
I then took MAC’s Yogurt and applied that in my crease and all over my lid with my Morphe M330 Brush.
I blended out MAC’s Blackberry from the outer corner throughout my crease and into my inner corner with my Makeup Geek Pointed Crease Brush.
I used that same Morphe M330 brush with no extra product on it, and blended that Blackberry color out so I had no harsh lines.
Next I took NYX Pigment in Pearl on my finger and applied that onto the center of my lid making sure not to get it in my crease.
I of course then applied my Wet N’ Wild Mega Liner and NYX liner in White on my water line. I followed that up with Maybeline’s the Falsies Volum’ Express Mascara.
It was a lot of fun creating this wearable look that can work on so many different skin types and eye colors. I hope you enjoyed
~Purple Smokey Eye~
I love playing with color in my makeup, so I’m always looking for ways to incorporate the colors that I love, and make them wearable for an everyday look. This purple color is PERFECT for anybody with green/hazel eyes. Purple and green are secondary colors, which basically means that they compliment each other! Purple helps to bring out the green in eyes and that’s why I love using purple in my looks. So let’s get started
- For my transition color, I applied MAC soft pink color called “Yogurt” with my Morphe M330 brush.
- I deepened my crease using my Makeup Geek Pointed Crease Brush with a bright purple color from NYX called “Ultraviolet.”
- I then applied my lid color which is LA Splash Glitter in the color “Passionate Plum.” I applied this with my Morphe M124 brush.
- I then went back in with the original transition color (MAC “Yogurt”) and blended the crease out and made it softer.
- I also added a highlight color which is Makeup Geek “Vanilla Bean.”
- I used my Makeup Geek Pencil Brush and applied that same “Passionate Plum” glitter under my bottom lash line.
- My eyeliner of course is Wet N’ Wild Mega Liner.
- I used Anastasia Brow Pro Palette in the color “Medium Brown” to fill in my eyebrows.
Thanks for reading, I hope you liked this look! Don’t forget to comment and subscribe With love and glitter, Kristi
This look was inspired by the GORGEOUS Glitter Injection in the color “Angel Kiss”
To start this look, I applied Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion-original as a base for my shadows to stick to. For my transition color, I applied Makeup Geek Latte in my crease blending that in with my Makeup Geek Soft Dome Brush. On the outer third of my eye I applied Morphe shadow in the color 73 Wilderness with my Morphe brush in the number M411. (Wilderness is a beautiful dark green color with a blue undertone to it.) To darken up my crease area, I used MAC Embark with that same Morphe M411 brush. I blended this color up into my crease so that it blended between the green color and the original transition color. I then applied that same Morphe eyeshadow in the color Wilderness with a Makeup Geek Pencil Brush under my bottom lash line. To apply the glitter, I first laid down a base which was NYX Jumbo Pencil in the color 630 Cashmere. I then used my Morphe M124 brush and applied that glitter right on top, making sure to only apply the glitter on the first half and middle of my lid and not in my crease. I waited a minute or so for that to set and then I applied my Wet N’ Wild Mega Liner and applied my Maybelline Pumped Up! Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara. To do my eyebrows I used the Anastasia Brow Pro Palette in the color Medium Brown.

VALENTINES DAY is coming soon and I know everybody loves to go out and celebrate with someone special to them, and that means that most people wanna look fabulous doing it !
This look is a day to night look with only ONE product added on! The first look is a soft sweet light pink look with purple in the crease. The second look is VAMPED up and turned into a sparkly smokey eye.
Let’s get started with how I created these two looks:
To create the first (day) look, I used MAC light purple shadow in the color Yogurt and applied it all over the lid with a fluffy brush. I then took MAC soft deep purple shadow in the color Blackberry and applied that in my crease with a pencil brush. I blended the crease color out and up with a clean fluffy blending brush. Although the picture did not do this next color justice, I applied a sparkly pink color from the Urban Decay Vice Palette in the color Freebird. I also added Makeup Geek’s white shadow in the color White Lies to my inner corner of my eye.
Other products I used (which usually stay the same in all my looks):
- Eyeliner I used to make the wing is Wet n’ Wild Mega Liner
- Eyeliner on the waterline is L’Oreal Carbon Black Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner
- Lashes- Maybelline Pumped Up! Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara in
- Eyebrows- I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pro Palette in the color Dark Brown. I used the lighter color in the beginning part of my eyebrow closest to the inner tear duct. I used the darker color to fill in the rest of my brow.
If you are one of those people who like to have a little more fun with their makeup when they go out at night, then this looks is perfect!! To create the night look, I added ONE product. NYX Roll on shimmer stick in the color Onyx. It is a B E A U T I F U L black smokey color with amazing amazing shimmer in it. All I did was roll it over my lid (trying not to get it in the crease) and patted it in to my lid with a flat synthetic shadow brush.
